Shop and Goods Destroyed As Fire Razes In Plateau Yam Market

Fire outbreak Namu Central Yam Market in Qua’anpan Local government Area, of Plateau State on Sunday night.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, some of the traders have urged the government at all levels to come to their aid and ensure that they recover from their losses in order to ensure food sustainability.Reacting to the incident, Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial Zone, Professor Nora Dadu’ut, has sympathized with the traders and the entire Namu community over the sad incident.

The lawmaker prayed for the quick revival of the victims’ spirit so that they can continue their struggle.

She also called on the government and other charitable Nigerians to offer support for the victims in order to expedite their recovery from the tragedy.
