Throughout his teenage years, Toheeb faced numerous challenges. Coming from a large family, where his father had three wives, he had to navigate his own path and work hard to achieve his dreams. At the age of 15-16, life became particularly tough for him.
Toheeb moved to Badia Ijora when he was 17, where he started hustling to make a living. He worked at Adeyemi in Yaba for a while, but unfortunately, he faced difficulties receiving his salary due to his boss’s greediness. Despite these setbacks, Toheeb persevered and continued to work hard.
He then found employment as a Bet9ja cashier at Iyana Ajegunle, and later at Orile. Working in the gambling industry wasn’t easy, but Toheeb had no choice but to make ends meet. However, he faced salary issues once again and decided to look for another job in the Badia area.
Toheeb’s determination led him to a Bet9ja job at Broad Street near Apongbon. Despite the long trek from Badia, he saw this opportunity as a way to save up for his studies. Music has always been a part of Toheeb’s life, as he started singing and writing songs since his primary school days.
A turning point came when Toheeb met Ma6ixx, a producer and artist, who helped him and his friend explore their musical talents. However, due to financial constraints, Toheeb had to prioritize helping his mother hawk food instead of dedicating time to music.
Toheeb’s father works as a driver, which limited his availability to spend time with his family. With his parents’ limited financial resources, Toheeb knew he had to work exceptionally hard to fulfil his dreams of becoming a superstar.
Currently, Toheeb resides at No. 60 Old Yidi Road Itamodu. Despite the challenges he has faced, Toheeb remains determined and committed to achieving his goals in the music industry.
