Davido is not God Wizkid fans promises viral Abuja barber (N2 million)
Grace has smiled upon Abuja barber, Callistus Chisom Okolie, following his viral exchange with Nigerian Afrobeat singer Davido.
Callistus, who is a loyal Wizkid fan, has recently declared the ‘feel’ hit maker as the third biggest musician in the industry. He wrote, “The only 3rd man in the music industry 003”.
This angered Davido as he revealed that the barber has lost golden opportunity to be a rich man. He replied, “@kallystouch I don save ur picture I for come Abuja … u for cut my hair wey don almost finish but u like social media … my last 3 barbers I open shop for them .. nah so u dull ur generation blessing smh”.
However, Davido’s statement sparked outrage online as internet users slammed the 31-year-old singer, claiming that Davido is acting like a God.
A Nigerian man, identified as @MrDablue, took to his X app (formerly known as Twitter) with promise of a whooping sum of N2 million to Callistus.
Taking to his timeline, he revealed that he has been able to reach the viral Abuja barber and the money will be given to him.
He wrote, “Who has that barber guy’s contact, 2 million naira for him. Davido is not God. I just get in touch with the barber guy, he’s not in lagos i ve paid him to book a flight to lagos om monday 🦅 Davido must learn a lesson. Someone just sent me 200k to add to this, this guy will be rich forever. 🦅”.
