Arsenal can put the pressure on Premier League leaders Liverpool if they beat Brighton on Sunday.
Mikel Arteta’s side trail the table toppers by only a point and will go top of the pile with three points at the Emirates Stadium.
They do, however, come into Sunday’s game off the back of a defeat to Aston Villa last time out.
Still, their opposition had to play on Thursday night, two days after the Gunners drew away at PSV in the Champions League on an evening when they were able to rest key players.
Brighton romped to a 3-0 win during their last visit to north London but Arsenal are yet to lose at home this season, while the Seagulls have lost three of their trips on the road thus far.
