Manchester United get back in action today with a Carabao Cup clash against Burnley.
The Red Devils have spent much of their World Cup break on a warm-weather training camp in Spain which involved friendly defeats to Cadiz and Real Betis.
A place in the cup quarter-finals is the prize on offer with the competition already shorn of a number of big names – including one of Manchester City or Liverpool after their game a day later.
Burnley’s mid-season pause ended earlier than United’s and they have won both of their Championship games since restarting, extending their lead atop the table.
