A newly prolific West Ham United side welcome Liverpool to the London Stadium in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.
David Moyes was brought to his knees by West Ham’s poor finishing against Liverpool in October’s reverse fixture. The veteran coach has managed to keep his post in the rocky intervening months and is in the midst of a deep purple patch, watching his side rattle in ten goals in the space of seven days last week.
Liverpool have racked up nine goals of their own against the relegation-threatened duo of Leeds United and Nottingham Forest in the last fortnight. However, only once before have the Reds extended their winning run beyond two Premier League games this season.
