Official Press Release

10th Of January, 2024

An Urgent Call For Swift Intervention And Action By The Federal Government And Kwara State Government To Rescue Our Abducted Sisters

The above chapter of National Association Of Kwara students ( Abu-zaria) deeply regret to announce the saddening abduction of our female members, seeks for urgent government intervention at all levels and financial support from the Public to rescue our sisters.

It has come to our open notice that the same bandits who kidnapped Alhaji Mansoor Al-Kadriya and his full- grown six children have also contacted his family, demanding for a whopping amount N60-million as ranson before releasing the children. The ransom become option after the tireless and prolonged appeal from the family.

This absurd and gloomy incident occurred on Tuesday night, when the victims were abducted in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory. Sadly, his brother, Alhaji Abdulfatai, who tried to led the policeman to foil their abduction was shot dead by the heartless bandits.

Furthermore, two among the three injured policeman hitted by bullet during the fiercely exchange of bullets had been confirmed dead.

On this note, NAKSS- ABU- Chapter, under the leadership of Comr.Qudus Adeyeye is solely and deeply concern about the safety and well- being of our students, and among them are Abusites and actively engaging Nakssites. Below are their details as siblings currently students of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaira, and Member of NAKSS-ABU Chapter..

Najeebah Al-Kadriyar (500 level, department of quantity surveying)..

Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar (400 level department of biological science)..

Nadheerah Al-Kadriyar (300 level zoology)..

According to the family,”we have been given tommorow, Friday, January 12, 2024 to look for the money. That is N10 million per child.

Therefore, we appeal to Nigeria government at all levels to take drastic actions to rescue our sisters, while we humbly implore the conscience of the general public to help in donating for the victim’s family.

For our students are going through a despicably inhumane maiming and horrendous moment in the captivity, as they released their father but held them captive.

Your prayers, financial donation and outreach are sacrosanct to bring back our girls.
